Lady Liberty — Lady Liberty- This statue was erected to commemorate the liberation of Budapest BY the Soviets. All other Soviet era statues were torn down, but Lady Liberty was covered with a white sheet for three days to be chastized and then uncovered to celebrate the liberation of Budapest FROM the Soviets.
