AP European History Unit 1: Renaissance and Exploration

Between the fall of Constantinople in 1453 and the Peace of Westphalia in 1648, Europe rediscovered classical antiquity, sailed across the Atlantic, fractured the Latin Church, and built the first global trade networks. The eleven lessons follow Italian and Northern Renaissance humanism through new monarchies, printing, the Columbian Exchange, and the early modern commercial revolution.
