Beef Stew

Ingredients

• •2 pounds stew meat, do not brown
• •1 tablespoon sugar
• •2 large onions, diced
• •1 slice of bread
• •2 cups carrots, chopped
• •2 cups celery, chopped
• •2 cups potatoes, chopped
• •1 can cream of mushroom soup
• •1 teaspoon salt

Directions

1. 1Stir all ingredients together except the bread.
2. 2Break bread into small pieces and spread over the top.
3. 3Bake covered for 2 hours at 300 degrees Fahrenheit or 5 hours at 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
