Marzipankugeln (Marzipan Balls)

Ingredients

• •1 ½ cups almonds, finely grated
• •1 ½ cups confectioners’ sugar
• •½ teaspoon almond extract
• •1 cup chocolate, grated

Directions

1. 1Mix the almonds with the sugar and the almond extract and heat slightly. Let this mixture cool and knead to a dough, adding some extra sugar if needed. Cover the dough tightly and let it stand overnight. Form the dough into small balls and roll them in the grated chocolate.
