Bou'neschlupp (Green Bean Soup)

Ingredients

• •Sliced green or wax beans
• •Potatoes, diced
• •Onion, chopped
• •4 slices bacon
• •½ pint cream or sour cream
• •Sausage (optional)

Directions

1. 1Take 2 parts sliced green or wax beans and 1 part diced potatoes and chopped onion.
2. 2Cover and boil in water until soft.
3. 3Fry 4 slices of bacon and add bacon bits and fat to soup.
4. 4Add about ½ pint of cream and simmer.
5. 5Some people like to add a sausage to their green bean soup.
